It’s been a dream of mine to create a focused and intentional space for one-on-one work. Over the past three years of mentoring clients, time and time again I felt, wow, imagine if we could do this face to face, every day for a week.. Over the past seven years of hosting group retreats, time and time again I witnessed that many of us actually yearn for personal attention, that many of us get lost in group dynamics and need quiet and space to truly open up and dive in.

Starting July 2022 we will be hosting bespoke retreats for individuals and couples, held on this healing land of the Sacred Valley. Each container will be tailored with intention to meet your current needs and processes, with the format of plant medicine ceremonies and psycho-spiritual practices designed specifically for you. What these retreats will look like will vary person to person, and I am so excited to enter into the space of trauma integration, personal healing and expansion and spiritual growth in this new way - guided by YOU.

Between the two of us we have almost two decades of experience in holding safe space. My husband is initiated into various shamanic traditions and will be working alongside of me, offering you the access to his own plant teachers. Sprinkled on top is the innocent sweet presence of our daughter, who already is a powerful healer in her own right.

- Two all-day San Pedro ceremonies, held locally by a an experienced medicine man

ABOUT AYAHUASCA
The name Ayahuasca commonly refers to a tea containing the combination of the ayahuasca vine (Banisteriopsis caapi) and the leaves from chakruna bush (Psychotria viridis). This mixture has been employed for many centuries throughout the Amazon as a powerful healing tool and vehicle to awaken consciousness. The word Ayahuasca is a combination of two Quechua words aya and huasca which translates as the death vine or soul vine. In the Shipibo tradition Ayahuasca is referred to as oni which translates as knowledge. This medicine produces powerful psychoactive effects that can address many deeply rooted issues from trauma and addiction to assisting one in life direction and purpose.
As Ayahuasca spreads around the world there are many people offering ceremony from traditional lineages to neo-shamanic styles incorporating various practices. We work strictly in the Shipibo tradition, honoring the lineage and ceremony practices handed down by our maestros. This tradition requires that those serving medicine have apprenticed for many years and have been given permission by their teacher after careful evaluation of their work.
GETTING THERE
Ubuntu Ayni retreat center is set at the foothills of the Andes in the Sacred Valley, Peru, in a small village of Huaran. The nearest bigger town is Pisac, while the closest airport is in Cusco.
Flying international, from Lima you will need to take a domestic flight to Cusco. Peru doesn't require an entry visa.
We will arrange a group taxi pick up from Cusco on the morning of the first day of the retreat. It is about 1.5 hours drive from the venue. Please make sure to arrive in Cusco ahead of that, to allow yourself time to acclimatize and adjust to the high altitude. We are in the high Andes.
February is the summer time in the Sacred Valley. The weather is warm and mild, temperature in mid-20C, and occasional rains can be seen. Because of the high altitude, the days are typically warm and nights quite cool.
LOCATION
This offering will take place at Ubuntu Ayni - a cosy retreat centre with the spectacular views of the Andes, lush garden, and lots of comfortable areas to lounge and relax.
A highly trained local chef will take care of our three vegetarian meals per day, using only the best organic produce. Unlimited teas and fruit will always be on hand. Special food offerings will be included on the ceremony days.
The accommodation is divided into private and double bedrooms and one dorm, which sleeps five. All rooms are en suite and equipped in comfortable mattresses and high quality linen.

ABOUT SAN PEDRO
San Pedro (also known as Huachuma) is a cactus that has been used as a sacred plant medicine for at least 3,000 years in the Andes of Peru. It is a medicine that can be used to help us perceive our self-created barriers and limitations, and greatly aids us in opening and connecting with our hearts.
Each ceremony is a reunion with ourselves, Mother Nature and the Divine. It is a medicinal mirror that can help us see where we hold onto self-limiting beliefs and patterns in our lives, gently guiding us toward releasing that which no longer serves us.
ABOUT ASTROLOGY
Astrology is a symbolic language. The different planets, signs and houses symbolise aspects of our personalities and our life and the events in it.
Personal growth or spiritual growth can be seen to be the movement away from lower expressions of our chart to a more skillful or higher expression. And the more we embody the higher nature of our chart, the better life tends to get and the more happy and fulfilled we become.
