Meet Marta

My name is Marta. I am a space holder, a facilitator and a long-time student of embodiment, devotion, and the healing intelligence of life itself.

My work is rooted in lived experience. I came to these paths not through seeking transcendence, but through the necessity of healing: from addiction, disconnection and the deep forgetting of my true nature.

What began as survival slowly revealed itself as a relationship with God.

I have been practicing and studying Yoga, non-dual philosophy and psychospiritual inquiry for most of my life, beginning at the age of fourteen. I spent several years living in India, between Yoga schools, ashrams and silent retreats, and studies with my beloved teacher grounded in Vedic and monastic traditions. Over time, my work expanded beyond form and philosophy into the living reality of the nervous system, trauma integration and embodiment. The medicine so very much needed in our modern world.

My path has been shaped by extensive training in mind-body approaches, including somatic trauma work, breathwork and neurophysiological understanding of healing, alongside a deep respect for plant medicine and the indigenous wisdom traditions. For over twelve years, I have walked in close relationship with the plant medicine lineages of the Americas, learning under the guidance of elders and wisdom keepers from diverse communities and cultures. Always with humility, reverence and responsibility. My primary commitment has always been to right relationship: with the plants, the people and the stories I share.

What ties all of this together is a simple orientation: healing happens through relationship. With the body. With the heart. With Spirit. With the living world.

Today, I hold spaces (one-on-one mentorships, retreats and online group containers) for people navigating thresholds: grief, initiation, motherhood, spiritual deepening, identity shifts, and the quiet call to simply live more truthfully. My first book, Miracles from the Abyss (2021), reflects my own lived journey through rupture, healing and return home to Self.

Becoming a mother of two has been one of my deepest initiations: marked by a near-death birth, a redemptive freebirth and many other places of crossing in between. A lived ceremony that stripped away abstraction and anchored my work fully in the body, in presence and truth. I live with my family in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Peru, where the land itself continues to teach me how to listen.

Forever a student, I walk in gratitude towards all of my teachers, human and non-human, and toward the mystery that keeps inviting us all home.
