NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

This pre-recorded workshop is a theoretical and practical dive into Nervous System Regulation, by the way of understanding stress and trauma through the life’s work of Dr. Peter Levine who developed the Somatic Experiencing method, and the life’s work of Dr Stephen Porges that is the Polyvagal Theory model. My intention is to support you in gaining an understanding of your nervous system, and to together inquire into how our own experienced sense of danger or safety can impact our behavior. In short - where do we perceive threat, consciously or not, and how do we do life on the back of that.

This session is a safe space to get in touch with yourself, get in touch with your body, perhaps reclaim its physical boundaries and your own knowing of sovereignty. Our nervous systems carry the story of our lives.

In 90mins, I share with you both theory and practice of creating safety and down-regulation within your inner landscape. This workshop was created with the intention of supporting you in rediscovering your body as a safe space, offering an honest inner exploration and self-inquiry, as well as equipping you with tools that are accessible and can become your every day allies. My invitation is for you to take radical responsibility for what you think, how you feel, and the choices you make on the back of it - all in the context of our social environment and the world at large.

The investment: $33 (US) for the access to the video and audio recordings. â€‹â€‹

Q'ERO IMMERSION

A touching three-session dive into the ancestral teachings and wisdom of the indigenous Q'ero Nation, led by my dear teacher, Victor. In each of the 90mins recordings, Victor offered transmissions on topics like our connection to Spirit and nature, what it means to walk a spiritual path, how to cultivate a life in which we live in alignment with our truth, and what is truly asked of us in this lifetime. The third sitting was an offering ceremony (pagamento), known as Haywarikuy.

The exchange is $88 and you will receive a transfer link to three video recordings. There is an element of personal preparation for each session that you're invited to carry out. This offering was conducted in a mix of Quechua (native to the Q'eros) and Spanish, with a live translation into English. Please continue reading below to learn more about the Q'ero Nation and Victor's own life journey. This immersion is an incredible opportunity to receive a true transmission from a wisdom keeper of an indigenous community.

ABOUT VICTOR AND THE Q'ERO NATION

Victor Chura Quispe

Born in the remote high Andean Q'ero community, Victor was initiated onto the spiritual path as a small boy. He was struck by lightning while watching the family herds in the mountains, an event recognized by his people as divine, and one that began his journey. Raised in the traditional way by his grandmother and grandfather, he began his studies of the path of a Paqo (healer) within his family's lineage. Victor went on to train with several Andean masters and Altomisayoq's - considered the highest spiritual authorities of the Andean tradition, most commonly initiated into the path since childhood and from young age able to commune with Spirit.

Over the years, Victor has earned the honorable title of Pampesayoq - he is recognized as a master teacher and a ceremonial master for healing and initiation on multiple levels. He is known for the joy and humility that he infuses into his work, as well as the true pride in the Q'ero tradition and culture. His profound faith is visceral when in his presence.

With a truly touching sincerity, he hopes to inspire his students to step onto the sacred path of heart wisdom.

The Q'ero Nation

The indigenous community of Q'eros is officially recognized in Peru as the last descendants of the Inkas. According to the passed-down word, the Q'eros originate from a high-jungle region in the Andes and once lived and thrived in the lower planes, including the Sacred Valley. In the 16th century, their Paqos (custodians of the sacred knowledge) received a message from Spirit that a great cataclysm is coming and unless they hide, their entire culture will be destroyed. The community listened and fled, both from the abundant jungles and the fertile planes of the Sacred Valley, into a harsh and remote seclusion at an altitude over 4000m / 14,000 feet. Here, in a rugged barren terrain, they lived (and continue to live) in stone houses with thatched roofs. For almost 500 years the Q'eros preserved their tradition in its entirety - all in isolation, in community, away from external influences. Thanks to their wisdom keepers, the Q'ero Nation escaped the brutality of colonialism and the indoctrination of the Church missionaries. Their wisdom, prayer and ceremonies are today just like they were 500 years ago. In the tragic history of South America and its conquistadores, this is almost unheard of.

The wisdom of the Q'eros is a living tradition. Their spiritual heritage offers a pathway to a deep understanding of our place in this world, and the role we all have to play. We are continuously reminded of our relationship to the Earth and to each other. The principle of Ayni, reciprocity, is at the heart of every gesture and action taken. There isn't a single of the Q'ero teachings, rituals or ceremony that isn't embodied and practiced as a part of every day life. Their way is one of healing, growth and deep understanding, available to all.

It has only been in the late 20th century that the Q'eros began leaving their community and slowly descend to other villages and towns, including the city of Cusco. It is only the youngest generations that have started to learn and speak Spanish. In the recent years, a first-ever beaten road was created to connect the Q'eros with Cusco (4h by car). Prior to this, their community was only accessible on foot in what was a multi-day pilgrimage.

There are approximately 3000 members of the Q'ero Nation.
